Organized by the Communications Department of Central Luzon Conference, led by Pastor Bong Fiedacan, the 2nd CLC-Wide Communication Convention Seminar was held last March 10-12, 2017 at Mountain Provinces Mission, Baguio City, with the theme Adventist Communicators: Totally Involved & Occupied in Nurturing (ACTION!).
The seminar was attended by more or less one hundred delegates from different churches. Main objective of the seminar is to enhance our ability to share the Gospel through Media with the goal of opening the minds of members to make them realize that we are all instruments of God in spreading the Gospel as well as nurturing and discipling members through Total Member Involvement. We can summarize this as evangelism through Media Ministry.
One of the highlights is teaching the delegates how to conduct live streaming our church services online using Facebook Live! With this technology being used in our churches, we will be able to expand our reach to a much wider online congregation. We will be able to inform the brethren church news as and when it happens and this will place our church back in the center of society – electronically!
